SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy describes how ECL Entertainment ("ECL," "we," "us") handles information in connection with its internal Short Message Service (SMS) text-messaging program. This program is used solely by ECL staff to hold one-to-one text conversations with ECL employees from company-assigned Microsoft Teams phone numbers — for example, IT Help Desk support, HR and scheduling coordination, and confirming an employee's identity during a support request.
Information we collect
For the SMS program we collect only the employee's mobile phone number and the content of the text messages exchanged. We do not collect SMS data from members of the public; recipients are ECL Entertainment employees.
How we use information
Mobile numbers and message content are used only to conduct internal, one-to-one business communications between ECL staff and employees. We do not use SMS data for marketing, advertising, or automated/bulk messaging.
How we share information
ECL Entertainment does not sell, rent, lease, or share SMS opt-in data or consent with any third parties. The only processing outside ECL is the transmission of each message by the mobile carriers that deliver it — carriers act solely as the delivery network and are not provided opt-in data for their own marketing or any other purpose. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opting out
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you reply START to resume.
Data retention & security
Message records are retained in accordance with ECL Entertainment's internal records-management and security policies and are accessible only to authorized ECL personnel.
